The "I" in me

While surfing through my FB account, I came across a post of a photograph of a dead actress who was incredibly famous for her humorous roles in many movies. This was just another post among those many on my wall. But, what, caught my attention was a sense of disbelief that the person is no more. I saw her on television the other day. And, now, I am seeing her dead! The eyes, nose and her face remains the same. But the person inside, I can't see anymore. The bubbly, zestful and energetic person- where has she gone? A day before she was there in that body with full of life and energy. So, the “person” in her has moved out and has left the body which is of no use, either to be buried or burnt.

I remember how thousands thronged and jumped out of queue just to have a glimpse of her face when she was alive. Today, a few to shed tears. - Perhaps many do not wish to see her dead body. Everyone wanted to see the "PERSON" in her represented by her face and body. Everyone wanted to experience the ebullience and live in the euphoria. Today, when that "PERSON" is not there in the same body, people are not interested.

So, it is our vivacity, enthusiasm and exuberance that make us alive, otherwise we are just a dead body!
